Ostertag – Sylvaner Vieilles Vignes

Biodynamic. Sylvaner - 60+yrs old average vines - Vin de Fruit. Blend of several plots located in the village of Epfig. Soils composed of clay, gravel and sand. Although Sylvaner has a reputation of huge yield grape,
Ostertag never exceeds 60Hl/ha. Hand harvested. Aged 8 months on lees in stainless steel vats. Dry wine (2g/l).

Les Vieilles Vignes de Sylvaner is a dry yet full bodied white wine, showing aromas of white fruits, citrus and fresh grape. Great pairing with custaceans, cured meats, terrine, asparagus and young cheeses.
