The Renardat Fache family has been growing grapes for eight generations in the tiny subalpine region of Bugey, tucked in the scenic foothills of the southern Jura mountains, crossroads of Savoie, Jura, Burgundy and
Rhône wine regions. Wine from Cerdon, one of Bugey’s three crus—in addition to Belley and Montagnieu—is always sparkling, pink, with a delicate sweet touch. Renardat-fache’s 12.5 hectares farm is both organically and biodynamically, with multiple high-density vineyards and varied exposures on Jurassic limestone and clay soils.

Organic. 100% Chardonnay. 10.5% alc. Méthode Ancestrale (natural sparkling wine also called pét-nat). Brut Nature. Hand harvested, fermented with indigenous yeasts in cold vats until the alcohol reaches about 6%. After a light filtration that leaves most of the active yeast in the unfinished wine, it is bottled and continues its fermentation in the bottle, reaching about 10.5 % alc. Classified as a Vin de France since there is no appellation applicable for this wine.

Dry, bright, and extremely friendly sparkling white with citrus and orchard fruits and a touch of chalk in flavor and feel. The palate display yellow apple-y, soft bubbles, kinda crisp and round at once. Aperitif wine all day long!
